-We recommend starting on the lowest display setting, and working your way up! Even newer computers might get bogged down with the program if you have a ton of files on your device.
-You can open display settings at any time in game by hitting “5”, so if you’re lagging, lower your settings.
-IF DOWNLOADING ON PC -
Inside the HORIZON_beta_windows.zip there is a windows folder that needs to be extracted, then launch the game by opening the extracted folder and double clicking HORIZON.exe
-IF DOWNLOADING ON MAC -
You may have to update your device, as you’ll need OS X 10.12 or later.
Apple products have security settings that prevent you from opening apps made by unknown developers.
1. After downloading, you will have to extract the application from the .tar file by double-clicking the file.
2. In the Finder, locate the app you want to open (in this case HORIZON).(Don’t use Launchpad to do this. Launchpad doesn’t allow you to access the shortcut menu.)

4. Choose Open from the shortcut menu.
5. If the program only gives you the options “Move to Trash” or “Cancel”, click Cancel and go back to step 3.
